ABOUT THE PRETTY PITTIE COMMITTEE:
The Pretty Pittie Committee is a nonprofit, foster-based animal rescue organization focused on helping dogs, particularly in the southern U.S. They originally started with a focus on bully breeds (like pit bulls), but now assist all dog breeds in need, especially those in shelters or on the streets. Their mission is to provide second chances for these animals by facilitating adoptions and transports to areas, like the Northeast, where they are more likely to find homes. They also work locally to support spay/neuter efforts and provide low-cost veterinary care to help prevent overpopulation and keep pets in loving homes.
